What matters to us

Being full of surprises

We don’t take ourselves too seriously here at Cotton Traders, but we are serious about making clothes that feel good and that last, because we know that life’s too short for too-tight shorts or fretting about them fraying.

We’re all about embracing a life full of surprises because let’s be honest, without them, things would be dull. A bit like if our classic polo shirts only came in grey - thankfully, ours come in a range of colours!

Making comfortable cool

Making contemporary, comfortable clothes is our main goal, because we think that comfort is pretty cool. The kind of comfort that makes every-day life easier.

Like elasticated waists on some of our trousers because looking smart shouldn’t feel restrictive. Like our tops with a wrinkle-free finish because you've got enough of those from laughing.

Staying true to our roots

Established in 1987 in Altrincham, UK - we’re proud of our British heritage. Founded by ex-England rugby players, Fran and Steve, we still call Altrincham home, with our Head Office and Contact Centres still based there. Our Delivery Centre is also UK-based which means while we embrace change and the future, we remain true to our roots.

That there’s something
for everyone

With their larger-than-life personalities and stature, our founders understood just how difficult it could be to find comfortable, quality clothes for themselves and those around them. It’s always been part of our ethos to promote inclusivity when it comes to size, it means that whether you’re shopping for an XS or an 5XL, an 8 or a 26 - you'll always pay the same price.

What our customers
think about us

With over positive 160k reviews on Trustpilot, it’s fair to say that those that do shop with us, whether that’s in-store or online, are happy with the services we provide and the products we make. The reviews are a brilliant way for us to understand how we can improve, they also make us feel happy and really, really proud.
