TERMS AND CONDITIONS - UK ORDERS

Ordering

Order by website - visit cottontraders.com.

Order by telephone - call 0844 844 1111* (UK orders only)

Order by post - send completed order form with payment to Cotton Traders Ltd, Cotton Hub, Merlin Court, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 5NL. (UK orders only)

To maintain our quality standards, we may monitor and record calls to enable us to ensure the highest level of service to our customers.

The right to refuse or restrict any order is reserved.

* Calls to 0844 numbers cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.

First Order

Your first order must be delivered to the address your card is registered to. This is to protect you from the increased threat from Internet and Credit Card fraud.

Payments

By credit & debit cards:

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card will be charged for the full value of your order on authorisation.

By cheque and postal order:

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Cotton Traders Ltd and posted to Cotton Traders Ltd, Cotton Hub, Merlin Court, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 5NL along with your completed order form. (UK orders only)

By Cotton Traders Gift Voucher:

Cotton Traders gift vouchers can be used against telephone or mail orders. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed through our retail stores or on our website. If ordering by phone please quote the voucher number to your operator. If ordering by post, please cut off the voucher and enclose with your order. Cotton Traders gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers expire after two years from date of issue and may only be redeemed against a single order.

Delivery

Our aim is to deliver your order within 3-5 working days from dispatch, subject to stock availability & excludes Sale periods. Please allow 7 working days for delivery before tracking your items.

If you ordered online you can log in to your 'My Account' section and use online order history to monitor the progress of your delivery.

We deliver throughout the UK using our courier network of over 12,000 local delivery agents. This makes your deliveries more secure and gives the added flexibility of evening and weekend deliveries in many areas. We have to allow 7 working days for delivery before we can raise an enquiry with our couriers.

International delivery available for online orders only, see International terms and conditions for full details

Cotton Home products are only available for delivery to the UK and Ireland only.

Delivery Charges

Cotton Traders charge a standard £3.99 for all UK orders, be it a single or multiple items.

If we send your order in separate parcels you will still only pay one delivery charge. Please see cottontraders.com/delivery for enhanced delivery options and costs.

Cancellation Policy

When you buy products online, you have cancellation rights detailed below. If you reside within the EU, you are entitled to these rights under the EU directive on Consumer Rights 83/2011. If you reside in a non EU country, we offer the same rights to you.

You are entitled to cancel your order if you so wish, providing that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods.

Your right to return or cancel products does not apply to goods that have been personalised / altered. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by a clear statement, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and e-mail address.

You can cancel by e-mail (customerservices@cottontraders.com) or call our Customer Care Team on 01612864321, or write to Customer Support Team, Cotton Traders Ltd, Neptune House, Pacific Court, Pacific Road, Altrincham, Cheshire WA14 5BJ.

If you decide to cancel, you should return your order to us at your own cost within 14 days of such cancellation and we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction, postal orders will be refunded by cheque) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply.

Only standard delivery charges for your order will be refunded (if applicable). If you choose a type of delivery other than our standard we will only refund you the cost of standard delivery (if any).

If you change your mind, your order will be reimbursed including any standard delivery charges providing the entire order is returned with tags and in the original packaging (where possible) including any promotional gifts that formed part of the original order.

This cancellation policy complies with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.

We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit.

Prices

The prices quoted are those ruling at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations due to the rate of value added tax. The correct price will be shown on your delivery note.

Prices shown on our website only apply to online, telephone and mail orders and may not be available in store.

Promotions

Free gift and free delivery offers apply to UK delivery address orders only. Some free gifts and promotions have a minimum spend threshold to qualify. Where minimum spend applies, delivery charges are excluded and only full price items qualify. One promotion per order. Excludes all gift cards, multi-buy, discounted, sale and clearance items, Triumph, Sloggi, Berlei & Salter branded items, the purchase of Unlimited Delivery and purchases in store. You can only use one promotional code per order. All gifts are chosen for specific promotions and cannot be exchanged. We reserve the right to substitute the gift featured for an alternative when demand is higher than expected. All promotions have an expiry date; please check this before placing your order. To qualify for the correct promotion please quote the 4 digit Promotional Code which can be found on all marketing material (email, letter mailing or catalogue) or order form. Code must be entered into promotional code box in Shopping Bag or at checkout on our website or for telephone orders please quote to advisor. Promotional discounts will be applied to full price items only; any items returned will be refunded minus discount.

Availability

All stock (including free gifts) is subject to availability. We will advise of current due in date at time of ordering if order is placed by web or telephone. If this date changes and is estimated to be due 14 days or later, we will inform you by email or in writing. Any orders placed via mail order will receive written confirmation of expected due in date.

For the purpose of current EU consumer contract legislation all promotions associated with orders from Cotton Traders Ltd (including free gifts, prices, discounts, multi-buy savings and any other similar offers) will cease to be valid when stock is no longer available, unless otherwise stated.

Availability of products in store may vary to that available for orders via website, telephone or mail order.

Colour Reproduction

Every care has been taken to ensure that the product descriptions and specifications are correct. The limitations of colour reproduction may mean a slight variation from the actual products can occur.

Returns

Please see our returns page for details on how to return an item to us including free returns to store and prepaid returns, or refer to your dispatch note. Items bought through one of our Retail Stores can be returned with the receipt to most Cotton Traders stores or outlets within 28 days of purchase. Pierced products (such as earrings) cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. You can return underwear and swimwear as long as any hygiene seals are still intact. This does not affect your statutory rights. Any items returned must be unworn and in saleable condition.

Refunds

All orders returned back to Cotton Traders are automatically refunded back to the original payment method account.

Exchanges

If you would like a replacement item (alternative size or colour) we will re-order with no fee to you for Postage and Packing - please call us on 0161 286 4321 and select the option to order a replacement item. We are currently unable to process exchanges online.

Confidential Mailing

Cotton Traders observe the code of practice covering the use of personal data as outlined in the Data Protection Act of 2018. We also comply fully with the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013.

To unsubscribe from mailings either call Customer Care Team on 0161 286 4321 or visit your 'My Account' section and update your mailing preferences. You can still choose to receive catalogues or can opt out of both e-mail and postal mailing lists. Please state your requirements clearly on all correspondence. Customer changes may take up to 28 days to take effect, you may still receive a number of mailings while we remove your details from the list.

If you are opted in to SMS marketing communications and wish to opt out, simply reply STOP to any SMS messages received from Cotton Traders. Please note this will opt you out of marketing SMS only and not service SMS messages from our delivery partners.

Cotton Gold

To remain a Cotton Gold member you need to place one order or more in a 12 month period, and returned less than 30% of the value of your purchases in the period. Every order placed will automatically enter you into the Cotton Gold prize draws. 10 Cotton Gold customers have the chance to win their order for free up to the value of £50 within set date periods throughout the calendar year. These dates are communicated via the flyer in relevant Cotton Gold mailings. No cash alternative. Cotton Traders reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently delete this promotion with or without prior notice. The promotion is not open to employees or agencies of Cotton Traders, their family members or anyone else connected to the Company. Winners will be notified personally. We reserve the right to feature names, photographs and locations in future publications and promotions. UK customers only.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Ordering

Order by website - visit cottontraders.com. We currently deliver to the following countries: Austria, Australia, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United States.

Payments

By credit & debit cards

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Please note payment is taken at point of sale in Sterling at your bank provider’s current exchange rate. Orders can only be placed via our website and the credit card used must be registered to the billing address. This is to protect you from the increased threat from Internet and Credit Card fraud.

Delivery

Our aim is to deliver your order up to 5 working days from dispatch (EU countries), 7 working days (non EU countries excluding Australia) or up to 10 working days to Australia. This is subject to stock availability and excludes Sale periods. Delivery will be by Asendia, during local country business hours, with a signature service.

Please note international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities, which may affect delivery times.

Cotton Home products are only available for delivery to the UK and Ireland only.

Delivery Charges

Cotton Traders charge £10.95 for all international orders to Austria, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Cotton Traders charge £16.95 for international orders to Australia.

Cotton Traders charge £19.95 for international orders to Cyprus and Malta.

These costs apply to single or multiple items.

If we send your order in separate parcels you will still only pay one delivery charge.

Customs Duties and Charges

All international deliveries are exported from the UK and therefore you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.

Cancellation Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM COMPETITIONS

1. The winner will be selected by randomised electronic selection from all of the valid entries posted during the Live Period. In the case of competitions with an entry mechanism that requires the submission of photography, entrants will retain ownership in the copyright of their entry. However, by entering, entrants hereby grant to the Promoter, permission to use, reproduce and/or modify your entry within the Promoter’s digital media communications (social media, website & email). Entrants must ensure they have the legal copyright to use all photography submitted as part of an entry, and have obtained permission from any other person featured in the photography, or permission from the legal guardian if any minors are included in the photography.

2. The winner will be announced within 5 working days of the Live Period ending via a comment by the Promoter on the prize draw post.

3. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. Multiple entries are not allowed, only one entry will be submitted per person

5. Prize is non-transferrable; no cash alternative will be offered and will only be valid to be used on-line. Vouchers valid – see individual voucher dates. Vouchers are not redeemable on sale items. The prize is only redeemable by the named winner and it must not be sold on.

6. In the event a selected winner does not respond within 5 days, we reserve the right to select a new winner.

7. The competition draw is open to all residents in the UK only. You must be 18 years or over and employees and their families of Cotton Traders Ltd, their agents or anyone professionally connected are excluded from entering.

8. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree that if they win, their details may be disclosed to anyone requesting a list of prize winners. In the case of competitions with an entry mechanism that requires the submission of photography, every submitted entry will be judged and scored by a panel of judges, including one independent judge, according to the following criteria: originality, relatability, photo composition & clarity. The entry that is deemed to be best suited to the set criteria will be awarded the competition prize. Details (name and town) of the winners will be available two weeks after the date of the draw by sending a stamped address envelope to the Prize Draw Administrator, Department M, Cotton Traders Ltd, Cotton Hub, Merlin Court, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 5NL.

9. The right is reserved to feature names and locations of prize draw winners in future publications and promotions.

10. Cotton Traders reserves the right to (i) withdraw, change or cancel the prize draw at any time, (ii) cancel or refuse any individual’s entry and (iii) amend these terms and conditions (and will use reasonable endeavours to notify changes to entrants and potential entrants).

11. This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and neither Facebook or Instagram shall not be liable for any losses whatsoever arising from this prize draw and/or the prize. You are providing your information to Cotton Traders and not to Facebook or Instagram. By entering the prize draw, you agree that you will make no claim against Facebook or Instagram in respect of it.

12. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
