Too many pockets
The star of the show is the material it’s brilliant. You don’t need hidden pockets or back pockets just make a simple pair of trousers. At least the multiple zipped pockets have gone. Still a great product.

Fit for my purpose
Been looking to replace some similar daily-wear trousers of 20-year vintage that are (oddly enough) now past their best. Of many many vendors searched and tried these are the first to give me a like-for-like replacement with dirt resistant material, a cut that actually fits my nowadays not-so-manly body reasonably well, and sizing that does not make me look like Coco the Clown. The price is comparable with those lesser products tested. I'll expect 20-years wear out of these as well of course and I'll let you know the outcome.
