It's definitely waterproof!
My 19 year old daughter uses public transport to get to work, which means a lot of waiting around in an area without shelter. I offered to get her a decent coat, as her old one just didn't cut the mustard, and she'd still get wet in bad weather. She wasn't convinced by this coat at first as she thought it took long and a bit too baggy (I explained it's unisex). She soon changed her tune once she came home bone dry and warm in the recent heavy rain! I've since bought one for my husband, and now my 15 year old wants one. A must with the stormy weather we've been having.

Great coat
Purchased fir my brother after searching high and low for a mens three quarter length, waterproof coat with detachable hood and deep pockets plus extra pockets inside. He loves it and is so glad to have it during this awful storm.
