When it comes to tricky customers, they don’t come more diva-like than Michael Whitehall. A refined gent far more at home in three-piece suits and pocket squares, he is not well known for his love of casual style. We saw this as the perfect opportunity to prove that comfy is the new cool and enlisted the help of his wife, the gorgeous Hilary, to coax him out of his suit and into a short-sleeve shirt. The result? A lot of grumbling…

“Here we go,” Hilary began. “Let’s get a little more casual and out of that suit. Let’s try a short-sleeve shirt…”

Michael’s response was an immediate “Absolutely no f****** way.” But a little persistence paid off. After a lot of back and forth, he had a change of heart, admitting, “It is quite restrained, I could be talked into this.”

The final verdict on the new casual look was as delightfully absurd as you might expect. His only remaining request? "Would it be possible to make a pair of sleeves in the same material? I feel exposed.”

Mission accomplished! And luckily, for those who feel the same, this shirt comes in a long-sleeved version too. The lesson is clear: if we can get Michael Whitehall to embrace being comfy, so can you. It’s time to find your own perfect fit, no matter how much grumbling is involved.
