Bought this for visitors at Christmas , was a bit worried as I use blankets and thriws so first quilt purchase in 20 years..with the cold weather and quilt using guests ,they said it was really lovely bedding..comfortable, cosy and they had a lovely nights sleep They asked where I got it from as it was much better than theirs at home. Cotton traders of course.
Only down side was although it fitted in my 11kg washing machine..it wouldn't spin dry so came out dripping wet..if a dry day and you can put on an fairer outside or in the utility room it dried very well naturally.
There was no factory chemical smell it was a lovely clean neutral smelkbon opening the zipped bag..excellent to store ready for the next visit.
