These do keep the water out.
I needed a new pair of waterproof walking shoes and these do the job nicely. They aren't too heavy and are wide enough for my feet without squashing my little toe like some boots do.
So far they have kept my feet dry and warm. I haven't worn them in snow or ice yet so will have to see how.they perform then.

Just the right shoe for a good walk
Nice and wide and very comfortable took out of the bag and straight on for a good walk. I have quite a wide foot and no problems and plenty of toe room too.
Have had some very wet walks and are waterproof.
