Comfortable from first wearing, waterproof
Very comfortable from first wearing and definitely waterproof. Nice thick sole so keeps your feet warm. Overall well priced for a comfortable, sturdy boot.
This is the second faux leather walking boot I have bought from Cotton Traders and unfortunately with the first pair after 5 months the faux leather started to peel off on the cuff. However, with no quibbles Cotton Traders gave me a full refund for the boot and my postage, so I used my refund to buy these walking boots. I note the new boots have been developed in the weak area, so hopefully these will last much better.
So overall I am very happy with my walking boots and the service given by Cotton Traders.
I am normally a size 6, but ordered a 7 to allow for a thick sock and room for my toes when walking down hills. The fit is perfect.

I am really pleased with these walking boots. They look smart and are a comfortable fit. My last walking boots were from Cotton Traders and served many years, but their time was over. These are an excellent replacement.

Excellent walking boots
I am very pleased with these boots. I need to wear orthotics and these boots do have a removable insole but after having had a pair of walking boots previously from Cotton Traders (which were equally excellent, btw) I knew to order a size up from my usual 7s to get a great fit with my orthotics and leave plenty of toe room. The shiny leather looks very smart and makes the boots easy to wipe clean after a muddy walk so they are not restricted to countryside rambling and can be worn around the town. The boots lace up tightly so your ankles are protected. They did need a little wearing in but not too much.
