Surprise gift
My husband loved these! Loved the colour, the fit- he's size 12- and the sturdiness without too much weight! From belts to coats Cotton Traders have never disappointed us!! Need more 35inch leg length though pleeeeese!!!!!!

Excellent value for the money
They are very comfortable to wear with a soft inside lining. A good thick sole but soft when walking. All in all a good everyday/ walking shoe.

Pleasantly & surprisingly great !
These Everyday Shoes are effectively Walking Shoes - that much is clear from the pictures. But these are so much better than the "official" Cotton Traders (CT) walking shoes, for one and one thing : softer slightly springy soles.
As far as the upper part of shoe, if you have bought other CT walking shoes, you will be used to the (good) standard of the uppers. But the sole is what steals the show : it's thick, great ! Most of all it is softer than all other CT walking shoes, and I've bought a few. It is still a firm sole, but a softer and, actually, a springy one too, so despite the trademark solidity of a Cotton Traders shoe, the softer and springy sole makes the shoes feel very light and you feel like they propel you forward when you go for your exercise walks, and the gentler sole also protects your knees.
All in all a great shoe - hopefully CT will move towards these soles for all their walking/everyday shoes.
One little minor point : although the shoes are generous in their fitting, do buy some little toe protectors as the inside rubbing on the little toe can be painful on long walks. I still recommend this shoe - it's a winner !
