Comfortable from day 1, and kept heavy rain out
These were the first pair of shoes I have ever bought online. My size 4 feet are very wide and I have a particularly high instep meaning almost all size 4s won't fit me. A few of the reviews and the Velcro gave me confidence to try these. They felt quite stiff the first time I put them on but within minutes they were comfortable. I've had no blisters or rubbing. My third walk in them was for an hour in constant heavy rain. My socks were dry when I got home, unlike how they'd have been with any of my other dog walking footwear.
